winewithkristen:

Utilizing budget (under $15, mostly) wine & cheese from @WineLibrary in Springfield, (yes, the home to @garyvee !), I headed out to New Jersey last week for the evening, meeting up with my ol’ college buddy, Mary Conway. We set up a fun wine and cheese adventure for her Junior League Women’s group.
Certainly the most controversial of the four wines was the Lambrusco, many had never heard of it, but trying to be a little “out of the box” I decided to bring the famously infamous Italian red bubbles. I truly thought the Roncolo Venturini Baldini Lambrusco was a great pairing with the Prairie Breeze Iowa Cheddar, the sharpness of the cheese contrasted nicely with the fruitiness of the Lambrusco. It was a really enjoyable night…and something I love to do.
Want to host your own tasting? Shoot me and e-mail at winewithkristen at gmail.com and I’d be glad to guide ya.
Shout out to the ladies who taste for JLOSH!

We’re so glad that you were able to find some great wine and cheese for your friend’s event! :)
